World leaders will gather at the UN General Assembly this week and are expected to focus on North Korea and Iran. US President Donald Trump, who continues to subvert global diplomacy, will host a Security Council meeting for the first time and will hold talks with South Korean President Wen Zai and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

When talking about Trump’s first meeting on the Security Council, US Ambassador to the United Nations Hai Li said: "This will be the most watched council meeting."

The general debate of the UN General Assembly began on the 25th. Trump, who is unpredictable, will improve his relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and withdraw from the Iranian nuclear agreement. He will stand on the stage and face the increasingly contending alliance and rivals. Suhan Dimacho, an expert on North Korea and Iranian affairs at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, judged that Trump would promote the Sichuan Gold Council as a major diplomatic victory: "But if you want to believe that North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat, you may have to think twice."

Trump will also preside over the Security Council meeting on the 26th to discuss the nuclear non-proliferation and weapons of mass destruction issues. It is expected that the focus will be on Iran, and this may happen to other major powers.

North Korean Foreign Minister Li Ronghao will meet at the side of the UN General Assembly at the invitation of US Secretary of State Pompey. Li Ronghao made a speech at the general debate of the UN General Assembly on the 29th.

Wen Zai will encourage Trump and North Korea to reconcile in bilateral talks with Trump. Qingwatai said that Wen Zai will explain the results of Pyongyang's summit meeting between North and South Korea at the talks, and discuss with the United States the early holding of North Korea's US summit talks and the realization of the denuclearization of the peninsula. The two will also sign the amendments to the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement in this meeting.

However, when Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on the 26th, insisting on continuing to sanctions Pyongyang’s Abe is likely to give different opinions. The talks are expected to discuss North Korea's situation and trade issues.

Iranian President Rohani will speak shortly after the speech by Trump to talk about the consequences of the US withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement.

The UN General Assembly will also take stock of the easing of South-North Korea relations and the North Korean icebreaking of the United States to seek a solution to the North Korean nuclear and ballistic missile threats.

Last year, Trump threatened to completely destroy North Korea, and also called Kim Jong-un as the "rocket man who carried out suicide missions", which made the leaders of various countries cold and sweaty. Also, Kim Jong-un also turned against the "old fan".

The general debate of the current session of the UN General Assembly will be held from the 25th to the 1st of October. The heads of state and executive heads of the 130 countries will attend, give speeches and participate in the meeting.((reporter: Charlie Zhong)
